About the Summit
Rozgar Mela 2.0 was a landmark employment and skill-development initiative led by Shri Harsh V. Shringla Ji, Hon’ble Member of Parliament and President, Darjeeling Welfare Society. The initiative successfully brought together 60+ leading companies, creating 2,000+ placement opportunities for aspiring youth.
The mega employment drive was held at Salesian College, Siliguri, serving as a powerful platform connecting industry, talent, and opportunity.
Taalentish proudly served as the Strategic PR Partner, supporting outreach, branding for the initiative. The event concluded with a prestigious Closing Ceremony graced by Hon’ble Governor Shri C. V. Anand Bose, adding national significance to the mission of employment generation.

Rozgar Mela 2.0 emerged as one of the most impactful employment events in North Bengal, drawing over 9,000 online registrations and 5,250 walk-in candidates across two days. With more than 2,500 job offers extended and many more in process, the event showcased the region’s rising potential in India’s employment landscape.
Over 60 leading companies participated, offering 10,000+ opportunities across hospitality, aviation, manufacturing, retail, banking, healthcare, and services. The initiative received overwhelming support from underserved districts including Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, and Siliguri subdivision.
